
Made from my preferred mash of corn, rye and barley and aged in 30-gallon white oak barrel for just over 3 years. I wanted to be sure the grains had enough time to not only marry, but really to get to know each other.
A hand-picked blend of corn, rye and barley. 1849 has the profile that bourbon drinkers are seeking. After resting in 30-gallon charred oak barrels, 1849 presents flavors of caramel.
